Alpha is now available on Blu-Ray and digital, as well, as DVD and Digital. The film was directed Albert Hughes from a story by Albert Hughes and screenplay by Daniele Sebastian Wiedenhaupt and it starts Kodi Smit-McPhee as a young hunter who befriends an injured wolf during the last ice age, with Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as his father. The wolf is played by Chuck, a five-year-old Czechoslovakian Wolfdog. and it was produced by Andrew Rona and Albert Hughes and executive produced by Guo Guangchang, Louise Rosner and Stuart M. Besser. ALPHA has a run time of approximately 96 minutes and is rated PG-13 for some intense peril.
