Supporting My Kid’s Academic Necessities
The success of my children’s academic development is extremely important to me. As you have been following my college journey which finalizes this semester, I realized how important it is to have all the tools to be successful.
Throughout my college journey and the dynamic aspect of each semester required certain and different types of tools to acquire the highest grade possible. In learning to cope and adjust for each semester my comprehension strategy, has led to optimistically supporting my children in every and all their academic needs, which include, all their school materials, and a comfortable area to study with computer access to their school’s webpage to review and acquire the weekly homework.
Since each one of my children are in different grades, their homework’s are different, thus requiring different materials. For example, my oldest son requires a scientific calculator for his math class. My youngest boys, requires an English/Spanish dictionary. And my daughter requires specific composition workbooks. In addition, I have gone the extra step in observing them at home while they are completing their homework and acquired the appropriate writing pencils, grade appropriate paper and any other school materials they use daily that feels the most comfortable to each individual character to complete all their assignments timely.

While taking into consideration each child’s uniqueness, each one will do things their own way. This lead to me in creating the perfect size desk with different features that are individualized for each child, to do their homework. The desk is appropriately build, sturdy. It has several nooks to put their things. It also has an attached desk light in case they need to study at night. It contains a multi-purpose three-in-one color printer for projects, and other printing necessities. There are as well two laptops available for their disposal. Last but not least, a very comfortable desk chair for extended sitting time. As I am a parent, the desk is strategically placed to keep a close eye to observe they are doing what they are supposed to be doing.
