Let’s be honest here. Do you know what’s the best way for a male to determine if a shirt is dirty? For the guys reading this, you know exactly what I am talking about. For the rest of you… You may have seen your father, brother or your husband do the smell test to determine if a shirt is re-wearable. If you don’t know what I am talking about, this is the way it goes. In my case and for that matter, my brother & my father, the way we do it is by giving it a quick glance, hold it, stretched out and smell the arm pit area. If it passes the smell inspection, then the shirt is considered re-wearable and if it doesn’t, it goes to the hamper. There are also a few other factors that can also be used to determine if a shirt is re-wearable, this includes: how wrinkled it is, if it has smudges, and/or cologne scent. You might be thinking “that shirt has been worn?”; however, there is no need to put a perfectly good shirt in the hamper.
If the given shirt has been determined that it can be worn again, all you need to do is wear it as is or remove the wrinkles. If you want an easy way to remove the wrinkles off your shirt, start of by placing the shirt down on the bed with plenty of light. This will allow you to see all the wrinkles clearly. Apply a wrinkle off spray, tug & smooth with your hands, and then hang your shirt on a suit hanger to air dry. I usually leave mine over night and in the morning, it actually looks as it has been ironed and no scent. Although, I have no issues wearing shirts more than one time, I also don’t like to stink. Let me say that again, I don’t like to stink and dislike stench on my clothes and myself. To avoid smelling or stinking my clothes, I am all for applying signature collection deodorants, showering with manly shower scents and wearing cologne on a daily basis. I even go as far as re-applying deodorant a few times a day and if I consider that I stink, I take a quick shower to remove those undesired scents off me.

I technically have three boys; a husband, a teenager, and a 4 year old. I am no stranger to the sniff test, and I have to do it on their clothes often because my boys don’t know how to use a laundry basket! Any guess on which boy smells the worst? #client

Hi Summer, I am so very glad you laughed, that is the exact way my Mom used to determine if our clothes were stinky or clean. My Mom’s exact words were “you guys are hamper challenged”. We have three children, 10 & 8 are the boys, and the princess is 4. Honestly, in a lot of ways, I am still very much like my children, acting silly and play around to much, sometimes. Hmm, I will take a wild guest and say, the teen is the stinkier one. Summer, thank you for your comments, I greatly appreciate it.
