Soccer runs in mine and my kids veins. Now that summer is here, we switched sections to a non-competitive season of our FC Soccer Club. As the heat beams down on us during practices and games, ice cold water and/or a cold energy drinks just doesn’t quite cool us off completely. Our favorite way of cooling off during the summer months is with a great old fashion ice cream. Yes, it is as simple as that, because after all, summer is all about cold treats.

There a lot of different types of ice creams out there; however, the one my kids and I seem to favor are Klondike bars. So many Klondike bars varieties to choose a favorite flavor, however, the one I enjoyed the most and actually got seconds, was OREO. The flavor fills your pallet leaving you wanting more. Although, my favorite was the Oreo variety, my kids loved the Cookie Dough Swirl variety, which you can see my son’s eating process in the images above. My favorite Klondike Variety is the Cookie Dough Swirl. I like it because it combine my 3 favorite things, Klondike Bar, Cookie Dough and Ice Cream. Who couldnt love that!!!

My favorite of the new varieties would probably be the Reese’s. They all sound delicious. The Oreo one looks cool because it looks just like a large cookie.

the caramel pretzel because I love caramel in ice cream and with the hint of saltiness from the pretzel I think it would be a great taste.

The original is my all time favorite but my kid love the oreo! Our local state park carries these and whenever we get a chance to go, we always get one before we leave from our day at the lake. 🙂
